Road and Water Resources workers for the City of Gainesville will have a downtown roadway blocked throughout the day today, Thursday, October 10.
City of Gainesville's social media posts show that crews are repairing a water main along Race Street, blocking that section of road between Broad Street and Jesse Jewell Parkway until approximately 4:30 this afternoon.
The closure will allow Gainesville Water Resources to complete repairs.
