The Banks County Sheriff's Office warns residents of individuals posing as FEMA representatives to defraud the public.
The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that FEMA does not solicit money, donations, or volunteer services from individuals.
Any residents who may encounter these scammers should report them to the sheriff’s office.
