A single-vehicle rollover wreck in Clarkesville on Friday resulted in no injuries but blocked Ga. 197 in the afternoon.
Habersham County reports that the wreck occurred between Raccoon Lane and Donald Cleveland Road just before 4 p.m.
Clarkesville Fire Department, Habersham County Emergency Services, and the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office responded initially, but the emergency and fire units were able to go due to no injuries to the driver.
Ga. 197 was initially reduced to a single lane, but was then shut down in both directions to allow a tow truck in to recover the overturned vehicle at the bottom of a roughly 15-foot embankment.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and no further details are available at this time.
