The Gwinnett County Police Department asks for the public's help finding the suspect of a Sept. 7 armed robbery just outside Duluth.
The police department said in a press release that the suspect Yago Reyes, 27 can be seen in surveillance video getting into a verbal argument with the victim behind the Shell gas station on 1515 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth.
“After a few minutes of arguing, the suspect is seen producing an edged weapon from his waistband area and placing it against the victim's neck,” The press release read.
A struggle between the two caused the victim to sustain a cut to his hand.
Reyes reportedly fled the area on foot with the victim’s bookbag.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about five feet eight inches tall and 175 pounds.
GCPD detectives believe Reyes might be linked to other robberies in the area, and he is believed to be armed.
Warrants for his arrest have been secured including armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
