A Hall County mobile home resident escapes injury following an early morning fire which destroyed their home Thursday.
A press release from Hall County Fire Rescue officials says their crews responded to the 4500 block of Lakeview Lane just before 3:30 a.m. for reports of a fully involved mobile home fire. The first arriving engine crew began to attack the fire from the exterior of the structure.
HCFR spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger says the crews knocked down the bulk of the fire within 20 minutes of deploying the hose lines, while the unidentified resident managed to escape the flames prior to HCFR arrival and was treated on scene.
A primary search was conducted and came back clear from any further harm to life.
HCFR officials add that the home is a total loss and the American Red Cross was notified for the displaced. The cause of the fire is unknown as the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating further details.
