The Georgia Department of Transportation will conduct traffic pacing on Wednesday on University Parkway/State Route 316 in Barrow County.
GDOT officials said the pacing will impact both lanes of travel eastbound on State Route 316/University Parkway to Monroe Highway/ SR 11 Intersection.
Weather permitting the right and left lanes will be subject to pacing while special operations are taking place.
Delays are expected as both the right and left lanes of SR 316 up to the intersection at SR 11/ Monroe Highway will be impacted.
Alternate routes should be considered.
