Boys basketball: East Hall gets first win in final game of Alaska Airlines Classic

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Jamarcus Harrison scored 18 points to lead the East Hall boys past Bartlett 62-59 in the Alaska Airlines Classic on Sunday. 

It was the Vikings' first win of the weekend event in Anchorage, Alaska. 

Trailing by a point at halftime, 28-27, the Vikings rallied in the second half. They outpaced Barrett 35-31 in the second half. 

Harrison also hit a pair of free throws with 7 seconds left to push the Vikings ahead by three points. 

Khalil Goss chipped in nine points, two of which came from the foul line with 1:09 left in the game to give the Vikings a 60-57 advantage. 

Braydon Langston finished the night with 14 points, even rebounds and five blocked shots. He finished the tournament with 11 blocks — one shy of the tournament record. 

Chris Alford turned in 10 points, and Devon Hughey pitched in 7 points, all in the fourth quarter.
