The Murrayville Compactor Site is scheduled to close for two days this week in order for paving and resurfacing work to be completed.

Hall County Government said in a news release that the site, located at 5106 Thompson Bridge Road, will be closed January 17 and 18. That is Wednesday and Thursday of this coming week.

Locals are being encouraged to utilize the two compactor locations that are closest to the Murrayville site: the Wauka Mountain Compactor Site and Sardis Road Compactor Site.

Both of these alternate locations are within Gainesville city limits.

The Wauka Mountain location can be found at 5800 Brookton-Lula Rd.; the Sardis Road location at 3166 Brackett Dr.

Hall County Compactor Sites are open Monday – Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
