Hall County authorities are asking the public to help them locate a missing Flowery Branch man who was recently released from the county jail.
A social media post Friday by the Hall County Sheriff's Office said Steven Trent Martin, age 53, was reported missing by one of his friends on January 1. Martin was reportedly last seen on December 19, 2023 when he was released from the Hall County Jail on his own recognizance.
Flowery Branch police officials confirmed that Martin was arrested the day before, December 18, on state charges for giving an officer a false name and date of birth.
Martin is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact Hall County Sheriff's Office investigators by calling 770-533-7813 or emailing to [email protected].
