Four Maranatha Christian Academy students were recently inducted into the Georgia Association of Christian Schools’ Honor Society.

Evelyn Talpas (8th grade), Jeremiah Salas (8th grade), Emily Tseng (8th grade), and Edwin Tseng (11th grade) were selected for the honor for their respective achievements and embodiment of key qualities.

The selection process for the Honor Society entailed rigorous nomination and evaluation, primarily based on recommendations from educators and administrators that highlighted the students’ exemplary behavior, according to a release from GACS. Criteria for selection required students to demonstrate scholarship, leadership, service, honesty, cooperation, responsibility, humility, submission and consideration.

"We are very proud of Evelyn, Jeremiah, Emily, and Edwin for their well-deserved induction into the Georgia Association of Christian Schools Honor Society,” Administrator Pastor Rod Bell said. “Their commitment to excellence and embodiment of these core values not only aligns with the values of our institution but also sets a sterling example for their peers."
