Two residents were displaced from their home after an early morning house fire on Chuckwagon Road just outside of Demorest.
Habersham County Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene at 12:55 a.m. Thursday. Once units arrived, they found the 1,800 square-foot structure showing flames through the roof.
Firefighters reportedly were able to quickly contain the blaze, however, units remained on the scene until 3:10 a.m. to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the displaced residents.
