A recent drug bust in Athens-Clarke County leads to multiple arrests, including that of a Gainesville woman.

The Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force aided Athens-Clarke's Police Department's Gang Unit, K9 Unit and Strategic Response Team in a December 29th raid of a hotel along the 100 block of Old Epps Bridge Road.

During the raid, officials allegedly discovered nearly nine pounds of methamphetamine and a handgun in a rented room.

Police arrested the occupants of the room, 43-year old Tyler Stalker of Ellijay and 40-year-old Angela Mosley of Gainesville.

Both are charged for trafficking methamphetamine, while Stalker faces additional illegal firearms possession charges.  The suspects were being held with Athens-Clark Police, as of last update.
