Girls basketball scoreboard: Black sets scoring record; leads CHS past EHall; EaFo wins

RABBITTOWN, Ga. — Riley Black continues to break records at Chestatee.

The senior West Georgia commit scored 17 points, pulled seven rebounds, and set the school scoring record in the Lady War Eagles 68-37 win at Valhalla on Tuesday.

The record was previously held by Peyton Robertson. Black has a career total of 1,709 points.

Caroline Bull added 12 points -- all from the 3-point line, Payton Cable netted 10 points, and Jamya Weaver added six points. Sierra Yarbrough recorded four steals in the win.

Chestatee (11-4, 4-0 Region 8-4A North) will host Seckinger on Friday. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

Ava Brundidge scored 12 points, and Hollyn Hicks, Ayla Heard and Addison Rouse added 11 each in the win over Johnson at home on Tuesday.
