MILNER, Ga. – Lanier Christian quickly ran past Rock Springs Friday night by a 56-13 final score.
The Lightning were up 28-7 at the half as sophomore quarterback CJ Britt hooked up twice with senior Sheppard Acton for touchdowns while throwing for 190 yards on 8-of-10 passing.
Britt finished the night 13-for-19 for 296 yards and six touchdowns. Acton finished with four total catches for 143 yards, while Drew Kalinauskas added a touchdown with his 32 yards receiving. Andrew Butusic had 35 yards receiving and two scores.
Lanier Christian will hit the road again next week to take on Calvary Christian.
