COAL MOUNTAIN, Ga. –– Taylor Pipkins's two-run bomb to right field forced No. 4-ranked Denmark (Class 7A) to surrender in just six innings, 10-2, at Raider Field on Tuesday.
The Lady Raiders scattered 10 runs over six innings to pick up its second straight win over a Forsyth County rival. North Forsyth knocked off South Forsyth last Tuesday, 4-3, and remains perfect at home.
The Clemson commit was 2-for-2 on the day, driving in two runs and crossing the plate three times.
The Lady Raiders were consistent at the plate all day, with Logan Currie, Addison Peck, Brylee Britt and Lexie Durban all turning in two-hit performances. Durban and Trinity Bearden, who was 1-for-3, both finished with an RBI each. Britt also highlighted the solid offensive performance with a one-out solo homer to center field in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend NoFo's lead to 4-1. She finished the day 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Durban earned the win in the circle, giving up two runs on five hits in six innings of work.
North Forsyth will travel to Class 7A No. 2-ranked North Gwinnett.

Addison Watson was almost unhittable in Seckinger's 4-2 win over East Hall on Tuesday.
The right-hander gave up just two runs on two hits while fanning 10 Lady Vikings to get the win for the Lady Jaguars.
East Hall Amari Burce gave up two earned runs while striking out eight for the Lady Vikings.
Burce and Kaylana Curry had one hit each for the Vikings. Burce led the team with one RBI.

The Lady Trojans exploded for 12 runs in the sixth inning to blow past Cherokee Bluff on Tuesday.
In the inning, Genesis Satterfield blasted a three-run homer, Bre Stowers had an RBI single, Mia Swors ripped an RBI double, Marly Weaver smashed a two-RBI triple, Jacey Smith had an RBI single, and Mac Taylor and Olivia Mullins doubled in two runs each to blow open the Region 8-4A battle.
Mullins picked up the win, allowing four runs on six hits, seven Ks over 4 1/3 innings of work.
The Trojans recorded 18 hits as Mullins went 4-for-5 to lead the day's offensive production.
JEFFERSON 5,
EASTSIDE 4
The Lady Dragons (3-1, 2-0) rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the fourth inning to get the Region 8-4A win over Eastside on the road Tuesday.
Jefferson scored two runs in the fifth and two in the sixth to rally. Ally Baldwin and Gillian Price led the Lady Dragons at the plate with two hits each. Jenna Rapp and Madison Hanchey had one hit each. Audrey Burton, Reagan Hayes, Natalie Beck and Price had one RBI a piece.
Addison Self gave up four runs on nine hits and struck out four in seven innings of work to get the win.
