AccessWDUN Sports covers 26 teams across the Northeast Georgia area. Of those, 23 are in the Georgia High School Association houses in eight different regions spanning all seven classifications from Class 7A (the largest) to Class A Division 2 (smallest).
Last season, we correctly picked six region champions -- Buford, Gainesville, Jefferson, North Oconee, Dawson County and Rabun County -- and we also nailed 28 of the 32 playoff teams in our eight Northeast Georgia regions. Not bad if we do say so ourselves.
This season, we decided to expand the voting. A 12-person panel, made up of media members from Blitz Sports Georgia, Friday Game Night, Georgia High School Football Daily, Gwinnett Daily Post, North Georgia SportsLink, WDUN AM/FM, White County News and WRWH AM/FM, have cast their votes for who will get it.
