Michaels, a nationwide retailer that sells arts and craft supplies for hobbyists and DIY projects will soon be opening in Cornelia.
The 18,000 square feet business, will be located in Habersham Village on Business Highway 441 between Planet Fitness and Bealls.
An opening date has not yet been released but the retailer has submitted remodeling plans to the city.
Construction will begin once the plans are reviewed and permitted.
Michaels chose to come to Cornelia after seeing the market data from the regional trade area.
