A man from Clarkesville was arrested Monday on child molestation charges.
Flowery Branch Police Chief Chris Hulsey said investigators first received a complaint about Corey James Aaron, 41, on May 8.
The alleged incident happened in Flowery Branch.
The victim told authorities they had been molested two years prior when they were 7 years old.
The victim and suspect knew each other prior to the alleged incident.
Aaron was charged with one count of aggravated child molestation and one count of child molestation. He turned himself in at the Hall County Jail on Monday.
The case remains under investigation.
