To be clear - despite what the commentators would have you believe, William Byron did not have the fastest car on Sunday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He did not drive a "masterful" race. He was not the "class of the field."
What he had was some luck, some track position, and Mother Nature on his side.
With the call to stay out while others pitted at the end of the race's second segment, Byron was out front when the skies finally opened up about 75 laps shy of the scheduled distance at Atlanta, giving him his fourth win of the season.
Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at the news and the views coming out of Atlanta, and gets you ready for this weekend's action at the "Magic Mile."
