The Hall County Soil and Water Conservation District is set to host an urban agriculture workshop at the Gainesville Civic Center on July 25 from 8:30-11 a.m.
The workshop will teach attendees how to implement soil health practices and install raised bed operations to attract pollinators on a small farm.
According to the Hall County Soil and Water Conservation District, the workshop will cover government cost-sharing programs and give local farmers the opportunity to discuss how they utilize hydroponics.
The event is free to attend but registration is required and you can do so here.
Breakfast will be served and check-in begins at 8 a.m.
