On Monday, the North Hall Athletic Hall of Fame announced its inaugural Class of 2023.
A committee of current and former coaches, athletes and community members made the selections based on public nominations.
There are 12 members headlining the first class: Michael Carew, Bob Christmas, Jody Davis, Harold Daniels, Courtney (Hester) Dwyer, Jean (Holtzclaw) Foster,
Brian Hall, Corey Hulsey, Nick Long, Trent Mongero, Danny Thomas and Paul White.
The new HOF members will be inducted on September 15 at North Hall's gym. The night will include a special dinner and be recognized on the field before North Hall's Region 8-4A football game against rival East Hall.
