PODCAST: Hard Left Turn ENCORE - NASCAR paint jobs more than a pretty face

With NASCAR taking the Father's Day weekend off, our Hard Left Turn crew decided to take their only off-week of the season as well, giving us a chance to revisit one of our favorite shows from earlier this season.

From January 4 of this year - In the past, the unveiling of the new liveries on the NASCAR tour was such a big deal that entire websites were dedicated to it, and there was even part of a yearly pre-season event that centered around the new paint jobs.

Now, it's become more of a side bar than a main story.

On this ENCORE Hard Left Turn podcast, our crew talks about the evolution of paint schemes in NASCAR and in motorsports, about how certain looks in history were iconoic, and why the look of a car at the beginning of the year just isn't that big a deal anymore.
