A Lawrenceville man was arrested Sunday evening following the alleged fatal shooting of his brother earlier that day.
According to an updated press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, Justin Lacy, 21, was inside the home on Brook Lea Cove when he allegedly fired a gun through an interior bedroom door, striking the victim.
Lacy and the victim, Bryson Moten, 31, of Lawrenceville, are brothers.
Family members attempted to render aid to Moten, but he died of his injuries.
Lacy was charged with involuntary manslaughter, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.
He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail following his arrest.

Gwinnett County Detectives are investigating an apparent homicide from the past weekend in Lawrenceville.
A release from Gwinnett County Police said that at approximately 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Central Precinct officers were dispatched to reports of a person shot on Brook Lea Cove in Lawrenceville.
Few details are available at this time but officials have confirmed that one deceased male was discovered at the scene.
GCPD Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigation personnel are working to provide as much information as possible.
Officials said that this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community.
