UPDATE: A crash in White County caused a temporary road closure this (Tuesday) morning on Highway 255.
White County Public Safety officials say a single car accident early Tuesday morning after 7:20 a.m. forced power lines down across the southbound lanes by Arthur Allen Road due to a snapped utility pole.
The highway was blocked until about 9:45 a.m. Habersham EMC Officials remain on site to replace the pole, according to White County dispatch.
No injuries were reported from the accident.
