Almost all of Georgia's eligible population is registered to vote.
A report from the Center for Election Innovation & Research released yesterday (Wednesday June 7, 2023) shows a current rate of 92 percent, or nearly eight-million people in the state.
The rate was 78 percent in 2016.
The report says that the numbers have increased largely due to automatic registration at Georgia's driver's license offices.
