GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Former North Hall head football coach David Bishop is back in the game.
But it won't be just football. He'll be roaming all sidelines this season as Chestatee hired the coaching veteran to lead its athletic department. He'll also serve as an assistant principal.
Bishop replaces Matt Stowers, who left to take the principal post at Franklin County.
Bishop spent 21 seasons at North Hall High School, eight of those as head football coach.
He resigned from that position after the 2021 season and has been teaching at East Hall since then.
