Two people are in the Hall County Jail after Oakwood Police reportedly found methamphetamine in a car at a hotel Saturday.

Oakwood Police Chief Tim Hatch said authorities were called by a woman who said her car, phone, pistol and other items had been stolen by Michael Dean Campbell, age 31. Officers were not able to find the car, but they were then called by the manager of the Jameson Inn on Thurmon Tanner Parkway saying Campbell had returned and was in the room with the woman.

Officers began an investigation and found that the vehicle was registered to another person. That person came to get the vehicle and asked officers to search it, leading to them reportedly finding narcotics including meth and LSD.

Both Campbell and the woman, Kristina Anne Warden, age 35, were arrested and face a list of charges including possession of meth with intent to distribute. They are both in jail on more than $1,000 bond.
