According to Oakwood Police Chief Tim Hatch, Lindsay Kristen Godfrey, 35, was charged with possession and trafficking of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession and use of drug-related objects and more.
Hatch said the Oakwood Police Department had received word from Cherokee County stating Godfrey could be in the Oakwood area. She also faced outstanding warrants in Cherokee County, prior to her Sunday arrest.
Oakwood Police Officers located Godfrey at the Jamieson Inn on Thurmon Tanner Parkway. They were later able to stop her vehicle and seize 40 grams of methamphetamine, drug objects, scales and methamphetamine prepackaged for sale.
