ATLANTA, Ga. — Atlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II will be in the starting lineup Friday night in Game 1 at the New York Mets, according to the team's Twitter page.
The team announced Friday morning that Harris II had been activated from the injured list. Harris has been sidelined since April 7 with lower back soreness.
Before he was activated, Harris II played in two Minor League rehab games with Triple-A Gwinnett.
In other moves, Eli White has returned from the paternity list and was optioned to Gwinnett. Nick Solak also was optioned to Gwinnett on Thursday.
The Braves begin Friday night's series in New York after blowing a 4-0 lead to Miami on Thursday in a 6-5 loss. The Marlins avoided the sweep with the win.
