Commerce police are asking the public to help them find a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a week.
Commerce Police Detective Kaitlyn Morris said Brianna Wynnette Parr was reported missing on Tuesday, April 18.
Parr was last seen on surveillance video at a McDonald's restaurant on U.S. 441 in Banks Crossing on Wednesday, April 19. She was also seen on video the day before at Loves Travel Shop on Maysville Road in Commerce.
Morris said employees at the McDonald's said Parr told them her boyfriend would be picking her up.
"Former coworkers have claimed Brianna spoke about having a boyfriend, described as a black make with face tattoos, who is believed to reside out of Monroe," Morris said. "Efforts have been made to obtain any tracable evidence, but at this time those have been inconclusive."
Parr is described as white with brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. She was seen on video both days wearing a black and white tye dye shirt, grey shorts and black and white slides. Detectives believe Parr could be in Walton County or possibly Habersham or Elbert counties.
"We've had some leads from the public saying they possibly saw her at a Dairy Queen and they possibly saw her at the Habersham emergency room. Those have been followed up on. In Elberton, she has some family out there," Morris said. "Those fell inconclusive as well."
Anyone with information on Parr's location is asked to contact Detective Morris by calling either 678-381-4230 or 706-335-3200 with the extension 1892.
"The Commerce Police Department wants to express their concern to the family and friends of this missing juvenile and to ensure to the members of our community that we are making every effort to follow any and all leads provided by the public quickly and effectively," Morris said.
