The top-seeded North Hall girls tennis team knocked off second-seeded Lovett 3-2 at home on Monday to earn a spot in the Class 4A quarterfinals.
The Lady Trojans swept the singles action to take the win. No. 1 seed Ella Kate Canaday rolled to the match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2. No. 2 singles Gabbie Jenkins did the same, 6-1, 6-1; as did No. 3 singles Lilly Perry, who won 6-0, 6-2.
