LOGANVILLE, Ga. — The Lakeview Academy boys soccer team needs one more win to complete an undefeated District 4-3A season.
On the road Monday night, the Lions knocked off Loganville Christian, 3-1, to officially clinch the district championship.
Mario Patino scored two goals to lead the Lions' offense. Liam Weidner and Heather Booker assisted on the two Patino goals. Thomas Berry scored his first-career goal on a penalty kick.
The Lions will play host to Loganville Christian on Wednesday.

The Lady Lions rallied to beat Loganville Christian on the road Monday.
After Loganville struck first, Annie Nivens played a perfect cross that Sadie Leek finished to tie the game.
Loganville Christian struck again, but Kendall Mathis tied it back up on a deflection after Loganville's goalkeeper made an incredible save off an Addi Graham blast.
Leek and Nivens then alternated, scoring the rest of the match. Leek finished with four goals, and Annie also had a hat trick with three goals. Graham had a huge game finishing with five assists.
Lakeview will close out the regular season at home on Wednesday against Loganville Christian.
