University of North Georgia officials are asking the public to help them find three individuals they say were seen on surveillance video during a recent burglary at a building on the school's Dahlonega campus.

In a social media post Friday, the department said the incident happened just after 1:00 a.m. Wednesday at an unoccupied non-residential building. Officials said someone caused physical damage to property inside the building.

Three unidentified people were seen on security footage at the building during the time the incident took place according to officials. The criminal investigations division of the department is now looking for the three for questioning.

Anyone who knows the identity or location of the three people in question is asked to contact UNG Detective Jeremy Weiner by calling 706-867-4552 or emailing [email protected].

Surveillance images of three people believed to have been at the scene of a burglary incident at the University of North Georgia's Dahlonega campus early Wednesday morning.
