DANIELSVILLE, Ga. — The North Hall girls and North Oconee boys won the Region 8-4A tennis championship on Tuesday.
The Lady Trojans beat North Oconee, 3-2, with the No. 1 doubles team of Maggie Perry and Riley Morgan winning a three-set match to clinch the match. Gabbie Jenkins and Lilly Perry won at Nos. 2 and 3 singles as well.
In the semifinals, North Hall beat Cherokee Bluff 3-1 to advance. The Lady Bears then beat Madison County in the consolation match to claim the third seed.
In the boys, North Oconee knocked off Cherokee Bluff to win the title. Madison County beat North Hall in the consolation match for the No. 3 seed.
The North Hall girls won the Region 8-4A title on Tuesday.
