The Hall County DUI Court Program recently marked its twentieth year of operation in March.
The program has been deemed as a “Model Court” by the Council of Accountability Court Judges of Georgia.
The mission of the program is to make DUI offenders accountable for their actions and to bring a change that ends use the abuse of drugs and alcohol.
Participants in the program attend regular evidence-based treatment groups, individual counseling sessions and community support meetings.
With over 70 current participants and an 86.5% retention rate, the program continues to achieve significant results from a public safety standpoint and has a positive impact on the lives of the participants and their families in the Hall County community.
Since its founding in 2003, the program has graduated 959 participants.
