Hall County Animal Services is getting ready to host its inaugural "Spring Fling" later this month.

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on April 15 at Cherokee Bluffs Park on Blackjack Road in Flowery Branch. It will be free and open to the public.

Hall County Animal Services Program Coordinator Stephanie Maloch said they will be partnering with groups like the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia to offer a number of services at the event.

“We want to get our adoptable animals out into the community to increase their chances of finding homes, and we want to engage the community in a fun way,” Maloch said. “We’re proud to partner with so many other dedicated animal organizations in our community for this event, and we hope it will be a catalyst for our adoptable pets who are ready to join a loving family."

Animal Shelter staff will be at the event offering puppies and dogs for adoption, the humane society will be offering a free vaccine clinic for pet owners and local vendors will showcase treats and accessories.

A full list of offerings at the event can be found on the animal services page of the Hall County Government website.
