Just three games are scheduled for Thursday around the Northeast Georgia area, and all three involve Region 7-3A teams.

Dawson County and Lumpkin County will resume their huge three-game series, as will Wesleyan and White County. West Hall plays host to Johnson in the latest edition of the Battle of Oakwood.

Dawson County (11-7, 7-3 Region 7-3A) stunned the sixth-ranked Indians (15-3, 8-2 Region 7-3A) on Tuesday with a 4-1 win in Dawsonville. The Tigers can climb into a tie for second and win the series with a win in Dahlonega. The Indians need a win to keep pace with No. 2 Pickens with their series looming in two weeks.

Both teams trail Pickens (17-3, 9-1 Region 7-3A) and the Dragons take on struggling Gilmer (6-11, 0-7 Region 7-3A) which has lost seven straight, on Thursday and Friday.

In Cleveland, White County (6-11, 1-6 Region 7-3A) will play host to Wesleyan (7-7, 4-3 Region 7-3A) looking to get back in the playoff race. If the Warriors can win the next two against the Wolves, they can win the series and get within a game of fourth place.
