One person remained in critical condition Thursday morning after a single-vehicle rollover wreck Wednesday morning on Interstate 85 southbound near the Hamilton Mill Road exit.
According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, the vehicle was traveling on I-85 southbound south of Hamilton Mill Road when it began changing lanes to the right. Police said the vehicle swerved back to the left to avoid a vehicle already in the lane.
The vehicle lost control, struck a median wall, and began to roll over.
The front seat passenger was ejected during the incident. Gwinnett County Police said paramedics determined that the passenger suffered a life-threatening injury.
The driver of the vehicle and another passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
All three occupants were transported to a local hospital. The front seat passenger remained in critical condition as of Thursday morning.
