Hall County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Buford man Wednesday night on charges of sexual battery following a domestic violence incident.
Officials said Tornyie Kenule Konne, 49, was taken into custody after preliminary investigations indicated Konne held an adult female victim down on a bed and committed sexual battery against her. The incident took place on the 3000 block of Over Hill Court.
According to a release, when deputies arrived, Konne pulled away from them, refusing verbal requests for cooperation. Konne was then arrested without further incident.
Konne is allegedly charged with false imprisonment, obstruction and simple battery under the Family Violence Act. He was booked into the Hall County Jail Thursday afternoon without bond. The incident is still under investigation.
