Rain on Friday forced several cancelations and movement for area baseball teams to Saturday.
A key Region 8-4A game set for Friday headlines the local Saturday action as Chestatee will head to No. 1 North Oconee at 6 p.m. Chestatee is looking for a 2-0 start to region play while the Titans are looking to rebound from a loss to No. 3 Cherokee Bluff on Wednesday.
Buford will continue its trek in the Perfect game Showcase in Hoover (Ala.). The Wolves dropped a pair of games on Friday.
Dawson County and Flowery Branch moved their Friday matchup to Saturday. First pitch is now set for 11 a.m. at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.
