ATLANTA — Mason Compton smacked a Grand Slam and Kade Smallwood hit a solo home run to lead Flowery Branch to a 10-0, five-inning win over Midtown on Thursday on the road.
Compton, Aaron Attaway, and Javy Ojeda all had two hits on the day for the Falcons (2-0). Jackson Freeman and Tyler Folkers had one hit each.
Chase Hammock got the win scattering two hits and striking out four in three innings. Max Wagner and Ojeda pitched the final two innings allowing just one hit.
Branch will play host to Forest Park on Friday at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.
