ATLANTA — The Lakeview Academy boys led from start-to-finish in a 79-41 win over Cross Keys on the road on Saturday.
Jack Collins led 10 different players in scoring with 18 points. Tristan Buffington and Tayden Ware each had 11 points for the Lions (13-11).
Lakeview opened the game with a 20-10 run and exploded for a 28-points second quarter for a 48-21 halftime lead. The Lions kept the pressure on holding the Indians to just 4 points in the third while building a 68-24 lead.
The Lions, who have won five straight, will hit the road again on Tuesday traveling to take on top-ranked George Walton in a crucial GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 matchup..

The Lakeview girls dropped a non-region game to the Class 5A Lady red Devils at home on Saturday.
Dynesty Putman paced Lakeview with 18 points. Taliah Gaither added 11 points and 7 rebounds and Sidney Corbin had 9 points and 9 rebounds. Kivana Bogne chipped in with 7 points and 8 rebounds and Annie Nivens swiped 7 steals for the Lady Lions.
Lakeview will be back in action on Tuesday at George Walton in GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 play.
