A Winder man has been identified as the suspect after a Hall County teenager was found dead in Jefferson in January.
According to Jefferson Police Chief Joe Wirthman, Willie Tremaine Nikholas Evans, 27, is charged with the death of Joshua Wick, 19.
Evans was charged with malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Evans remained in the Barrow County Detention Center at the time of this story's publishing.

A suspect has been detained after a Hall County teen was found dead in Jefferson earlier in January.
Jefferson Police Chief Joe Wirthman said the suspect, who was not named, was being held in the Barrow County Detention Center as of the last report.
Wirthman said the investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Joshua Wick, 19, of Hall County, was found dead on Jan. 20 at about 4 p.m. in the middle of Holders Siding Road. Authorities are treating the case as a homicide.

A Hall County teen was found dead Friday afternoon in Jefferson and authorities are investigating the teen's death as a homicide.
Jefferson Police Chief Joe Wirthman said Joshua Wick, 19, was found dead at about 4 p.m. in the middle of Holders Siding Road.
Wirthman said they believe Wick was tossed out of a car.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist with the investigation.
