Three suspects from Lula were recently arrested in connection with a theft early in December at the Lula Laundry Mat on Main Street in the city.
According to a press release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, the three suspects were identified as Terry Lynn Jones, 54, Chassidy Rena Bollinger, 47, and Joshua Brandon Wood, 34. The agency said the trio allegedly stole more than $2,300 in cash by breaking into a cash/change machine at the business on the evening of Dec. 9.
Investigators also determined the suspects used a child under the age of 12 as a lookout while the crimes were being committed.
Jones and Bollinger were each charged with felony counts of theft by taking and possession of tools for the commission of a crime. They also each face one misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The two were arrested on Thursday. They were being held in the Hall County Jail on a $9,950 bond as of Friday afternoon.
Wood, who was already in custody at the Hall County Jail following his arrest on Dec. 10 in a financial transaction card theft case, was charged Friday with felony theft by taking in connection with the Lula business crime.
All three suspects lived at the same home in Lula. Jones and Bollinger are believed to be in a relationship, but the agency said investigators have not determined their relationship with Wood.
