High accolades are being sent to the superintendent of Jackson County's School System this week.

A release from Jackson County's Schools System reports that Dr. Philip Brown has been selected as a 2023, "Superintendent to Watch", by the National School Public Relations Association (NSRPA).

Dr. Brown is one of just 24 superintendents nationwide to be recognized by the NSRPA for innovation and effective use of technology to engage and expand outreach efforts to the community.

NSPRA Executive Director Barbara M. Hunter says, “Each of these leaders have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to championing innovative communication strategies to advance their district’s success.”

Dr. Brown is in his second year as the Jackson County School System Superintendent.
