CARROLLTON, Ga. — Lakeview Academy boys coach Benjie Wood picked up career-win 500 as the Lions rolled past Harris County, 59-38, in the Carrollton High School Christmas Showcase on Monday.
The win pushes Wood's career record to 500-199.
Brock Graham led the Lions (7-2) with 19 points.
The Lions only led 8-4 after the first quarter but blew open the game by halftime, leading 24-12.
In the second half, the Lions outscored Harris County 34-26 to earn the win.
Kyari Burch added 12 points, and Tayden Ware chipped in eight.
Lakeview will play LaGrange on Tuesday. Game time is set for 10 a.m.
