Friends and family of Kelsey Duttenhofer recently created a GoFundMe fundraiser for the family of the woman from Cumming who was killed Tuesday in a Forsyth County car accident.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office previously told AccessWDUN that Duttenhofer, 28, was driving south on Windermere Parkway at about 3 p.m. when her vehicle drove off the roadway and hit a fence and tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the GoFundMe page, Duttenhofer was a mother and left behind two young children. She worked as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
"As we gather to support each other through this difficult time, we also recognize the financial burden that comes with unexpected tragedies," the GoFundMe page reads. "The Duttenhofer family is now faced with the overwhelming costs of funeral expenses, along with the responsibility of providing a stable future for Myla and Maxlee."
The fundraiser had raised nearly $19,000 as of noon Sunday.
