Five people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon in Forsyth County.
According to a release from the Georgia State Patrol, troopers responded at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday to the scene of the accident on Browns Bridge Road at its intersection with Keith Bridge Road.
Troopers determined Bryan Vasquez Rodriguez, 25, of Gainesville, was driving a Toyota Corolla south on Keith Bridge Road. Micael Kyle Stephens, 30, of Gainesville, was driving a Ford Flex west on Browns Bridge Road.
Rodriguez allegedly failed to yield after stopping at the stop sign and turned left onto Browns Bridge Road. The Toyota then struck the Ford on the driver's side.
A 22-year-old occupant of the Corolla was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Additionally, a 28-year-old woman and three children in the Ford were hospitalized. Neither driver was transported.
