Financial relief returns to Georgia commuters, in small increments, when it comes to gas prices at the pumps this week.
AAA of Georgia shows today's average price for unleaded regular gasoline is down three cents from last week, at $3.03 per gallon, but that's 16 cents above the rate from a month ago and 13 cents above the same rate from a year ago.
Montrae Waiters of AAA says increasing supplies and steady demand should continue to help prices drop lower throughout Georgia.
Hall County commuters should see an average price below 3 dollars, at $2.98 per gallon today with the lowest rate in Northeast Georgia appearing in Fannin and Union counties at $2.92 per gallon.
