FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — East Forsyth used a big second half to rally past Cherokee Bluff in overtime, 88-78, on the road Tuesday.
Trailing 43-34 at the half, East Forsyth (2-5, 1-0 Region 8-4A North) opened the second half on a 17-7 run to take the lead, 51-50, at the end of the third quarter. The fourth quarter was a back-and-forth battle.
In overtime, the Broncos were 9-for-9 from the foul line, and Louie Koulouvaris scored 10 of his 25 points in OT. He also was a perfect 5-for-5 from the foul line. The Broncos outscored Cherokee Bluff 19-9 in overtime.
Tyler Lesch led EaFo with a game-high 27 points. He scored 21 points from the 3-point line. Andrew Frank scored 13 points, and Britain West added 11.
Logan Holmes led the Bears (2-4, 0-1 Region 8-4A North) with a team-high 21 points, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter and overtime. Cooper Glover added 14 points, and Bryce Horton had nine.

The Lions (3-1) pulled away in the second quarter en route to the blowout win over Pinecrest on the road Tuesday.
After a close first quarter that ended with Lakeview up, 23-17, the Lions extended their lead, 52-21, at the half, and were well in control by the end of the third quarter, 75-35.
Mekhi Barber led all 11 scorers with 22 points. Justyce Sadler and Brock Graham had 14 each, and Ricky Brown added 10 points.
Lions win on the road at Pinecrest Academy in Cumming 92-48.

Cal Faulkner scored a game-high 31 points in the Indians' loss to Wesleyan on Tuesday.
The Indians led 39-35 at halftime but were outscored 38-24 in the second half to fall in the Region 7-3A opener in Dahlonega.
Preston Cox added 15 points in the loss.
James McGriff led the Wolves with 25 points, and Josh Kavel chipped in 24 points.
